đź“–Sunday Recap

Series Title: The Spoken Road: A Journey Through Easter

This past Sunday, we continued our Easter series with a sermon titled “Father Forgive Them” rooted in Luke 23:34.

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”And they divided up his clothes by casting lots. (Luke 23:34)

From the cross, Jesus prayed for forgiveness—even to those responsible for His death. That prayer wasn’t just spoken into the air; it was answered. In Acts, many who once rejected Jesus later turned to Him in faith, including priests, crowds in Jerusalem, and even some who may have witnessed the crucifixion.

Jesus’ words remind us that no one is beyond the reach of grace. And as recipients of that grace, we are called to boldly share it. Like the early church, we carry the message of a crucified and risen Savior who still forgives—and still saves.

👉 Looking Ahead:
This Sunday, we continue with “”He Is Not Here—He Has Risen!”” from Luke 24:1-12.

“Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; He has risen!” (Luke 24:6)

We’ll explore how the resurrection changes everything, proving Jesus’ power over sin and death and offering us new life.
